Product information " Symphonic Live: Live In Heineken Music Hall, Amsterdam, 2001 4LP"
For over fifty years, Yes has stood at the forefront of rock, distinguished by unparalleled craftsmanship, creativity, and innovation, creating symphonic masterpieces that continue to inspire to this day.
Now, Mercury Studios releases "Yes Symphonic Live," an outstanding live collection of 14 songs filmed in high definition. Singer Jon Anderson, bassist Chris Squire, lead guitarist Steve Howe, and drummer Alan White revived the dramatic intensity of their 2001 album Magnification—the first Yes album without keyboards and the final Yes studio album to feature Anderson.
To support the symphonic direction of Magnification, the band embarked on a 2001 tour with a fresh approach to their live performances. They enlisted the European Festival Orchestra, conducted by Wilhelm Keitel, to add lush new textures to their sets and bring the spirit of the new album to life on stage. In addition to tracks from Magnification, they performed reimagined versions of their timeless hits. Classics like "Owner of a Lonely Heart," "Long Distance Runaround," and "I’ve Seen All Good People" have never sounded more grand.
